Role Overview
This position is for a Lead Engineer working on Windows-based desktop software using C++ and C#.NET. The role involves contributing to new product introductions, enhancing installed-base releases, and supporting pre-NPI or advanced development efforts. The engineer is expected to work across design, development, analysis, and technical coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of NPI programs, installed-base updates, and advanced development work.
- Review current implementations and modify components to align with changing business needs.
- Design modules and sub-systems at the component level.
- Develop components, modules, and sub-systems as an individual contributor.
- Act as a technical specialist by reviewing deliverables and guiding others in the relevant functional area.
- Interpret functional requirements and translate them into workable technical understanding.
- Handle technical communication with customers.
Required Experience and Skills
- Practical, hands-on development experience in Windows desktop applications using C++ and C#.NET.
- Exposure to the healthcare imaging domain.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design principles.
- Solid experience with multithreaded programming.
- Ability to compare technical alternatives and select the most suitable approach.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
- Good testing and debugging skills.
- Working knowledge of healthcare-related imaging, workflows, integration, and verification.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take initiative.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Exposure to the software development lifecycle, preferably in a SAFe Agile delivery environment.

Additional Information
