Role overview
This role is for a Java developer who will contribute to AI training work through a coding-focused platform. The position is part of a large network of technical professionals working on practical AI improvements across a variety of engineering disciplines.
The work combines flexibility with technical challenge. You will collaborate with advanced AI models on programming tasks such as creating and solving difficult coding challenges, building feature-rich applications, and turning data into useful insights through analysis and visualization. Your output helps improve intelligent systems as they learn and evolve.
Some contributors use this opportunity alongside another full-time job, while others rely on it as their main work, selecting assignments and timing that suit their own availability and objectives.
How to get started
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that functions as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid projects will be unlocked on the platform.
Contracting benefits

Responsibilities
- Develop and solve a range of coding problems used to train AI systems, with a strong focus on Android-related work.
- Produce clean code examples along with clear, well-structured explanations.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, speed, and readability.
- Share feedback that helps guide the next version of AI models.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin, plus proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
- Good writing ability, with solid grammar and communication skills.
- Completed or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Background as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is preferred.
Additional information
This is an independent contractor engagement. Payment is processed through PayPal, and no upfront payment or fee will ever be requested from applicants. Currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal where applicable. The opportunity is limited to applicants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. People outside these locations will not currently see assessments or available work on the platform.
Compensation
Hourly contract work starts at $50 to $100+ per hour, with select projects paying more.
