Contentful is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d) to help shape automations, workflow capabilities, and collaboration experiences. The role sits within a product-focused environment serving a large customer base that manages content at scale.

The team is looking for someone who enjoys building robust, high-performing applications with modern tools and who is excited by the challenge of improving automation, team collaboration, and workflow functionality across the platform.

What you'll do

• Work side by side with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver automation, workflow, and collaboration features.
• Build and maintain both frontend and backend functionality using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Integrate collaboration technologies that improve team productivity and the overall user experience.
• Think across components and systems to create a smooth, end-to-end product experience.
• Identify and resolve bugs quickly to support customer satisfaction.
• Use analytics to guide product decisions and refine features.
• Take part in code reviews and help strengthen engineering practices.
• Stay informed about current trends in automation, workflows, and collaboration tooling.

What you need to bring

• Prior experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in a product development setting.
• Strong command of TypeScript, React, and Node.js, along with an interest in clean code and enterprise-grade architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• A practical problem-solving approach and the ability to turn ideas into workable product improvements.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Comfort with organizing priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.

Preferred experience

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Previous exposure to automation engines or collaboration and workflow tools is helpful but not mandatory.
