Business Management Associate

Role summary

This position supports contract administration end to end across several business lines. The focus is on ensuring invoices are raised on time, revenue is recognized accurately using percentage-of-completion (POC) methods, receivables are actively tracked, and all contractual as well as financial obligations are met, particularly within defence and aerospace programs.

Core responsibilities

• Keep contract records up to date, including milestones, payment schedules, bank guarantee information, and important contractual clauses.
• Monitor project milestones and raise progress billing and tax invoices in line with contractual terms.
• Assist finance teams with POC-based revenue and margin monitoring.
• Track outstanding receivables and coordinate follow-ups to support timely collection.
• Identify and monitor commercial risks such as liquidated damages, expected credit loss, and cost overruns.
• Maintain bank guarantee logs and watch expiry dates to ensure renewals are completed on time.
• Compile management information reports for monthly and quarterly review cycles.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Management, and have 2 to 6 years of experience in contract management, billing, or commercial operations. Prior exposure to defence customers is required.

Skills needed

• Working knowledge of billing, contract administration, and commercial procedures.
• Fundamental understanding of POC accounting and GST.
• Comfort with MS Excel, ERP systems, and SAP.
• Strong coordination and follow-up abilities.
