Role overview
This position is part of the Tamheer program and is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, financial reporting, and coordination with internal teams and branches to keep records accurate and complete.
Key responsibilities
- Record journal entries related to profit and loss and balance sheet accounts to support monthly closing, costing, and financial reporting.
- Help maintain the accounting framework and coordinate the rollout of accounting controls and procedures.
- Check accounting and system-generated reports to confirm they are accurate and fully complete.
- Support budget preparation and handle tasks connected to revenue, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting records as assigned by the line manager.
- Identify and correct accounting differences after carrying out reconciliations of related accounts.
- Examine reports and statements received from internal offices and branches and update them when required.
- Prepare checks and forward them to branches after verifying the supporting documents.
- Review customs-related invoices, arrange the relevant checks, and deliver them to the requesting department.
- Input accounting and financial information into the company’s automated finance systems to generate reports.
- Coordinate with the direct manager to prepare the documents and support needed for internal and external audits.
- Track company vehicle fuel consumption and related reports.
- Monitor the monthly and annual medical insurance registration records.
