About the internship
LTV Forge works with ecommerce brands to improve repeat revenue through lifecycle email, SMS, segmentation, and retention systems. The focus is on practical revenue-driving work such as audits, rebuilding flows, QA, deliverability, and reporting rather than newsletter-only activity or spam-heavy tactics.
This internship is designed for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real client retention work. You will support active email campaigns, lifecycle automations, customer segmentation, copy drafting, reporting, and process management. Prior years of experience are not required, but you should be serious, detail-oriented, and comfortable writing clearly in English while using tools such as Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Sheets, Notion, and AI-assisted workflows.
What you will do
- Support planning and execution of ecommerce email campaigns, including launches, promotions, newsletters, educational messages, and customer reactivation efforts.
- Contribute to lifecycle flows such as welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, checkout abandonment, post-purchase, winback, replenishment, and sunset journeys.
- Draft email copy, subject lines, preview text, campaign briefs, product positioning, and retention concepts.
- Build and maintain audience segments using engagement history, buying patterns, order data, product interest, and lifecycle stage.
- Monitor flow and campaign results using metrics like open rate, click rate, placed order rate, revenue, unsubscribe rate, spam complaints, and deliverability indicators.
- Work with designers to ensure creative assets are prepared, reviewed, tested, and launched on schedule.
- Assist with basic Klaviyo quality checks, including links, buttons, mobile rendering, product blocks, coupon logic, segmentation, and send settings.
- Research ecommerce brands, competitors, product angles, seasonal opportunities, and retention ideas.
- Keep campaign calendars, reporting sheets, client trackers, and internal SOPs organized and up to date.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully for research, ideation, drafting, and QA while avoiding generic or low-quality output.

Additional requirements
- Strong written English is preferred; communication should be clear, structured, and practical.

- Basic familiarity with email marketing, Klaviyo, Shopify, copywriting, or digital marketing is helpful, though not strictly required.
- Comfort with Google Sheets, Notion, ChatGPT, Slack/Discord, and quickly learning new tools is important.
- Excellent attention to detail is necessary because mistakes in email work can be costly.
Compensation and benefits
The stipend is INR 10,000 to 20,000 per month. Perks include a certificate, a letter of recommendation, flexible working hours, and a 5-day work week.
