Role OverviewVirtusa is seeking an experienced Workday Developer to support integration work with a strong focus on the Time & Absence and Payroll areas. This is a full-time onsite role in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.What You Will DoBuild and support Workday integrations, especially across Time & Absence and Payroll modules.Take part in initiatives involving Workday and other business systems owned or licensed by the client.Spot patterns and developing risks by reviewing relevant metrics, loss information, and external events.Share findings clearly with business teams so they can respond with the right actions.Work with stakeholders to find process improvements and introduce technology solutions that enable straight-through processing.Coordinate with technology partners when changes need to be implemented and controlled.Support review activities that look for policy and standards gaps, and help identify better practices, improvements, and training needs with regional teams.Serve as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and other team members.Exercise sound risk judgment in business decisions, with attention to compliance, ethical conduct, reputation, client protection, and escalation of control issues.Experience NeededThe role calls for at least 8 years of experience in Workday development and integrations.Additional InformationThe successful candidate is expected to handle risk thoughtfully, follow applicable laws, rules, policies, and standards, and raise control concerns transparently when needed.Who Should ApplyProfessionals with deep Workday integration experience, particularly in Time & Absence and Payroll, and the ability to work with business and technology teams on process and control improvements.
