About Revent

Revent is an early-stage venture firm that supports Europe’s most ambitious founders who are building companies with meaningful long-term impact. The firm backs people aiming to create enduring value and improve the future, not just chase scale for its own sake. Revent works hard to earn the trust of exceptional founders and operates with a high bar for partnership.

The firm has backed companies including Avelios Medical, where Sequoia later led the Series A, Tem Energy, later supported in a Series B by Lightspeed, along with several other rounds that have not yet been announced and involve Tier 1 funds. Revent is currently deploying a new €111M fund and plans to invest in 38 very early-stage companies working on AI and frontier technology.

Role Overview

Revent is looking for a full-time Team & Operations Associate based in Berlin. This role is the operational anchor for the team and covers the day-to-day systems, logistics, and coordination that keep the firm running smoothly. The position is hands-on and high ownership, with direct impact on how the office, team experience, events, and internal processes function.

Because the team is intentionally small, this role carries significant responsibility. It is not a passive admin position; instead, the associate will actively improve processes, support the team, and take responsibility for the quality of operations across the firm.

What You’ll Handle

  • Keep the team organised and moving efficiently by managing calendars, arranging travel, coordinating meetings and appointments, and making sure communication and follow-ups are handled properly.
  • Support preparatory accounting and expense processes by collecting and organising invoices, receipts, and other documentation, preparing payment runs, recording vendor and team expenses accurately, and keeping records clean across internal tools.
  • Oversee subscriptions, software, and contracts by tracking renewals, evaluating new tools, negotiating pricing where needed, and managing access for team members.
  • Take ownership of the office environment by managing meeting rooms, mail, deliveries, supplies, cleanliness, and the overall feel of the workspace, while coordinating with vendors, building management, and service providers.
  • Plan and run events and offsites, including lunches, dinners, founder summits, strategy offsites, and gatherings with founders or LPs, in close partnership with the head of community. This includes venue and vendor sourcing, invitations, communications, travel, on-site logistics, budgets, attendee tracking, and follow-up after the event.
  • Proactively identify operational issues and improvements, then put solutions in place before problems escalate.

Working Style and Environment

You will work closely with a small team and gain exposure across the firm. The role offers meaningful ownership over office, team, and event operations, along with real input into how the firm’s culture and processes develop.

Practicalities

This position is based in Berlin and requires full-time, on-site work. The company is not able to sponsor work visas, so applicants must already have the legal right to work full-time in Germany. Compensation is €40,000 to €60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a performance-based bonus.

What Success Looks Like

The ideal person brings a consistently high standard of execution, creates polished experiences for demanding stakeholders, and keeps many moving parts under control. You should be proactive, organised, discreet, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable using modern tools and AI to improve how work gets done.

Who This Role Suits

Revent is open-minded on formal education and does not require a specific degree. The most relevant background is a few years in an operations-focused role in a fast-moving environment. Experience in startups, investment firms, or professional services can help, and internships may count toward the total experience. The role is suited to someone who wants to contribute to a mission-driven team building for long-term impact.

Compensation

Annual pay is expected to fall between €40,000 and €60,000, with additional performance-based bonus potential.
