Camera ISP Tuning Engineer

Role Overview

Matrix Comsec is hiring a Camera ISP Tuning Engineer in Vadodara. The role focuses on image quality tuning for camera products used in consumer, automotive, and machine vision environments.

What You’ll Work On

• Improve and tune camera imaging performance across the ISP pipeline.
• Work on 3A algorithms, including auto exposure, auto white balance, and auto focus.
• Fine-tune ISP blocks for high-megapixel consumer and automotive camera systems.
• Assess image quality using both subjective judgment and objective measurement methods.
• Use laboratory setups and test equipment to validate and optimize camera output.

Technical Profile

• Hands-on experience with digital consumer cameras, automotive cameras, or machine vision cameras.
• Strong understanding of ISP modules and 3A algorithms.
• Knowledge of modern image sensors, optics, camera pipelines, and image quality metrics.
• Familiarity with image-processing stages such as calibration, gamma correction, colour correction, noise reduction, sharpness, brightness, and contrast.
• Experience with image-analysis tools such as IMATEST, Image Engineering, and DXO Mark software.
• Ability to work with imaging lab equipment such as test charts, lighting systems, light boxes, and chroma meters.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with embedded platforms such as Qualcomm, TI, MTK, Intel, Ambarella, or Ingenic.

Additional Information

Required qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.

Graduation is not required for applicants.
