Stayin Bangalore is offering an internship opportunity for a versatile Frontend & Mobile App Developer who has a keen eye for UI/UX design and an understanding of user psychology. This role involves bridging the gap between design concepts and practical multi-platform implementation on both web and mobile platforms. Beyond transforming wireframes into visual screens, interns will help define interaction patterns, color schemes, micro-animations, and intuitive user flows to improve user experience and engagement.

Responsibilities

Interns will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining production-ready cross-platform mobile applications using React Native with seamless native bridge integration for iOS and Android.
Building scalable, efficient, and responsive web applications utilizing React and contemporary styling frameworks.
Integrating web and mobile frontends with backend RESTful APIs, implementing optimistic UI updates, robust error handling, and background data synchronization.
Converting product concepts into wireframes, interactive flows, and production-quality prototypes via Figma.
Applying principles of visual hierarchy, color psychology, and spatial arrangement to simplify cognitive load and guide users to key actions.
Constructing and maintaining a shared atomic design system across React and React Native to foster consistent branding.
Designing and implementing micro-interactions and transitions through tools like Framer Motion for web and React Native Reanimated for mobile.
Optimizing platform performance by addressing rendering bottlenecks, minimizing mobile bridge latency, and improving asset delivery.
Conducting thorough testing and ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers, devices, screen sizes, and operating systems for both Android and iOS.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Bangalore.
Applicants should be able to commence the internship between September 7, 2026, and October 12, 2026, with a commitment of six months.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong command over React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience developing with React Native using CLI or Expo services.
Well-versed in Tailwind CSS, styled-components, and animation libraries such as React Native Reanimated, Framer Motion, or Lottie.
Practical knowledge in managing client and server-side state using TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
Excellent UI/UX design capabilities with a deep familiarity with Figma features, including auto-layouts, components, and design token structures.
Understanding of mobile design standards including Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design.
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JWT/OAuth authentication, push notifications (FCM/APNs), and deep linking techniques.
Experience or capacity to write native bridge code in Swift/SwiftUI for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
Familiarity with alternative cross-platform frameworks like Flutter (Dart) or React Native.
Experience consuming AWS-based backend services and integrating REST APIs.
Portfolio showcasing deployed web or mobile applications or interactive Figma design presentations.

Internship Duration: 6 months
Start Date: Immediate (between 7th Sep 2026 and 12th Oct 2026)
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India (onsite)
Stipend: INR 20,000 to 30,000 per month
