Role overview
We are looking for a Web Designer to join a fast-growing technology company serving the financial services technology space. This is a permanent position based in Dublin West, offering a salary of €45,000 to €50,000, with final pay depending on experience.
The ideal person will bring together creative web design ability and practical experience with front-end editing and content management systems. The work will focus on shaping, maintaining, and refining websites and digital interfaces so they are intuitive, responsive, accessible, and visually polished.
This is not a deep software development position. However, you should be comfortable working with HTML, CSS, design software, and CMS platforms. Experience with Umbraco would be a strong advantage, and WordPress or other similar CMS experience will also be valued.
What you will do
- Design website layouts, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Carry out website updates and content changes through CMS platforms.
- Apply front-end improvements using HTML and CSS.
- Work closely with project managers and developers to deliver web projects.
- Make sure websites meet business needs while remaining visually strong, responsive, and accessible.
What we are looking for
We are seeking someone with a solid portfolio that demonstrates complete website or digital interface design work. Strong judgement around UI and UX is important, along with hands-on CSS ability, CMS experience, and familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or the Adobe Creative Suite.
