Role Overview

The organization is hiring an experienced Site Engineer with quantity surveying expertise to support construction operations. This role focuses on quantity estimation, billing, cost management, and site coordination to help ensure work is completed on schedule and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) and carry out quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Check, validate, and certify bills submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
• Track material usage and prepare reconciliation statements.
• Generate client invoices and progress status reports for work completed.
• Liaise with site engineers, consultants, and project managers to keep work aligned.
• Ensure construction is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and project planning activities.
• Keep measurement books, site documentation, and other project records up to date.
• Maintain compliance with quality requirements and safety practices at site.

Requirements

• A B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in quantity surveying and site execution is needed.
• Hands-on knowledge of BOQ preparation, billing, estimating, and quantity take-off is expected.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is necessary; ERP software knowledge will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and coordination skills are important for this role.
