Shift Leader - PCM

Role OverviewThis position is for a Shift Leader in the printing function based in Haryana, India. The role is focused on running shift-level printing activities efficiently, using resources wisely, protecting product quality, and supporting a safe, compliant production setup. It is a supervisory role with responsibility for guiding shift execution, assisting with troubleshooting, managing consumables, and keeping printing operations aligned with GMP and EHS expectations.What You Get in the RoleResponsibility for managing the full printing shift, including planning work, assigning resources, and coordinating daily activities.A chance to coach operators, help solve technical issues, and contribute to higher performance in the printing area.Exposure to quality management systems, GMP, EHS, CAPA, and compliance-driven continuous improvement.Practical involvement in handling printing consumables such as ink and rollers, checking equipment, and carrying out line clearance tasks.Key AccountabilitiesPrepare the shift plan covering manpower allocation, leave, overtime, WIP control, and PCM planning.Make sure changeovers and line clearance are completed correctly before every batch, including foreign-object verification and cleanliness of the print booth.Confirm that all required quality settings and product specifications are in place before production starts.Drive adherence to SOPs, GMP standards, and EHS requirements throughout the shift and ensure follow-up actions are completed.Assist operators with mechanical issues and breakdowns, ensuring problems are addressed quickly.Track and manage printing ink and roller usage to keep materials available and reduce waste.Check CSS/V-Box on PCM, ensure sampling is completed correctly by print operators, perform random capsule inspections, and take corrective action when deviations are found.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should have a B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Printing and more than 3 years of experience at an advanced level. The role calls for quick decision-making, practical business awareness, strong planning and prioritization skills, and the ability to work closely with others as part of a team.
