Key responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers through outbound calls, email campaigns, social outreach, and market research.
- Assess prospects for fit by reviewing their business needs, budget, and likelihood to buy before handing them to the sales team.
- Keep the pipeline active by maintaining steady outreach, timely follow-ups, and accurate CRM logging.
- Run effective introductory conversations that explain how the company's fintech and expense management offerings solve customer problems.
- Arrange product demonstrations for Account Executives and provide complete context for a smooth transfer.
- Work with Marketing to improve conversion from inbound leads and share feedback on lead quality.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales, or lead generation, with fintech, SaaS, or other tech-led exposure preferred.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, cold outreach, and creating qualified B2B opportunities.
- Good understanding of B2B sales development processes and CRM usage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, along with sound interpersonal ability.
- Comfort with high-volume outreach and the consistency needed to stay resilient.
- Ability to speak confidently with mid- to senior-level decision-makers in finance, operations, and leadership roles.
