Role overview

An established construction business in the infrastructure field is looking for an experienced estimator to join its team in Wiesbaden. The organization works across transport route projects and operates from a large network of locations throughout Germany. It values strong client relationships, collaboration, and consistently high standards.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between €75,000 and €90,000, depending on experience.

What the role involves

In this position, you will contribute to the preparation and commercial review of infrastructure tenders and pricing proposals. The work calls for excellent attention to detail, confident communication, and the ability to negotiate effectively.

• Prepare proposals and offers for projects.
• Lead or support negotiations during the procurement stage.
• Develop project cost estimates independently.
• Examine and validate tender documentation carefully.

Experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a degree or an equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline. Previous experience in the infrastructure sector is required, and around five or more years in an estimator role is considered ideal. Strong communication skills are essential.

Language requirements

German at B2 level or above is mandatory for this role. English is also preferred.
