Procurement Coordinator (Construction)

Role Overview

Maple Reinders Constructors is hiring a Procurement Coordinator to support its civil construction team in Mississauga, Ontario. This position plays a key role in keeping construction projects on track by coordinating the sourcing, review, and management of materials and subcontracted services. You will work alongside project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to make sure procurement activities match project requirements, budgets, and schedules while also helping strengthen important industry partnerships and overall project value.

Key Duties

• Review vendor quotations and compare them with project specifications and drawings.
• Support the preparation of purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Help coordinate negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor the progress and status of purchase orders and subcontract commitments.
• Participate in project meetings and share procurement-related updates.

Required Background

• At least 1 year of experience in a coordinator-type position within the construction industry.
• A university degree, technology diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or an equivalent mix of education and related industry experience.
• Working knowledge of construction specifications and drawings.
• Experience on water and wastewater projects is a strong advantage.

Additional Information
