Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Barrackpur-II is for a Pre-Dispatch Inspector who will verify products and components before they leave the facility. The role focuses on accurate visual examination, dimensional verification, and quality checks, along with detailed documentation and adherence to established industry requirements.

Key Duties

• Carry out pre-dispatch inspections on products and components with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Perform visual examination and dimensional verification as part of quality assurance checks.
• Document inspection results and maintain clear, detailed reports.
• Ensure work is aligned with applicable industry standards and compliance expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hands-on knowledge of inspection methods, especially visual and dimensional inspection.
• Understanding of NDT-related standards and compliance, including SNT-TC-1A.
• Prior exposure to inspecting industrial items such as static equipment, rotary equipment, automotive spares, castings, forgings, plates, and pipes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate inspection records.
• Comfortable working in industrial settings and adjusting to client-specific requirements.
• Technical certification in an NDT discipline or a similar field is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
