Tranzit Group is an award-winning transport and tourism business operating across New Zealand. The Wellington Coachlines team is seeking an enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to help deliver a high-quality experience for drivers, clients, and passengers.

This is a varied position within a fast-moving environment that supports school transport, charter, tour, and cruise operations. The client base includes schools, the Ministry of Education, and cruise and tour operators. A strong focus on safety, service, and reliability is central to the role.

The hours may change depending on operational needs, and after-hours assistance may be required. This position also offers scope for career growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations by handling a range of administrative and coordination tasks.
  • Arrange fleet servicing and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with bookings and prepare pricing quotes for services.
  • Help with recruitment tasks and onboarding new employees.
  • Monitor driver compliance and licence obligations.
  • Contribute to incident handling, investigations, and complaint resolution.
  • Help manage service delays so they are dealt with promptly and appropriately.
  • Keep the staff noticeboard up to date.
  • Provide after-hours support on a rotating roster.
