Logistics Executive

Role overview

This position focuses on supporting day-to-day logistics activities so that goods, materials, and inventory move through the supply chain on time and without disruption. The role is based in Singapore and requires hands-on coordination across transportation, shipping, warehousing, and internal operations.

What you will do

You will help organize transport schedules, coordinate outgoing and incoming shipments, watch inventory movement, prepare shipping paperwork, and communicate with suppliers, freight partners, warehouses, and internal teams. A key part of the job is to keep operations running smoothly by tracking deliveries, fixing logistics issues, maintaining accurate documentation, and making sure procedures align with company policies and transport rules.

You will also support efforts to improve logistics efficiency, review operational performance, assist with cost-control initiatives, and contribute to ongoing process improvements that strengthen supply chain productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Previous exposure to logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, shipment coordination, inventory control, or supply chain support is required.
• Good knowledge of logistics workflows, freight handling, stock control, warehouse operations, and distribution planning.
• Experience working with suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with ERP tools, WMS, TMS, or inventory software.
• Strong organizational ability, analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and close attention to detail.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.
• Capability to handle several shipments at once, prioritize effectively, and stay efficient in a fast-moving operational setting.
• Knowledge of import/export paperwork, customs processes, Incoterms, and logistics compliance is an added advantage.
• A dependable, proactive, and results-driven approach with a focus on operational quality, process improvement, and efficient service delivery.
