Gym Instructor

Job Summary

This role is focused on delivering safe, engaging, and polished fitness support to guests and residents. The Gym Instructor will provide tailored workout guidance, help maintain the fitness area, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a positive wellness experience aligned with the service standards of Salayel Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support guests with workout plans that are safe, effective, and suited to their needs
• Welcome users through gym orientation sessions and simple fitness evaluations
• Oversee correct use of exercise machines and other equipment while prioritizing safety
• Keep the gym space and all equipment clean, tidy, and hygienic
• Deliver courteous, attentive, and professional service to improve the guest experience
• Follow all health, safety, and hotel operating requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred certification as a Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer, such as REPs, NASM, ACE, or an equivalent credential
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a hotel, resort, wellness center, or fitness club
• Solid understanding of fitness programming, exercise methods, and injury prevention
• Strong verbal communication and people skills
• Guest-oriented attitude with a neat and professional presentation
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is an added advantage
