Construction Assistant Manager

Role overview

Habermehl Contracting Ltd. is hiring a Construction Assistant Manager in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Work arrangement

This is an on-site position only. The work must be completed at the physical location, with no remote work option.

Key duties

• Oversee and coordinate subcontractor activities.
• Review how daily operations are running and identify what needs attention.
• Organize and schedule day-to-day construction activities.
• Prepare and provide construction project budget estimates.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Develop and monitor budgets for assigned work.
• Estimate the materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.

Supervision

This role involves supervising working groups.

Technology and software knowledge

Working familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Word, and SharePoint is expected.
