Application Delivery Manager

Role overview

This position leads the delivery unit for application development and is accountable for managing the full lifecycle of custom software delivery. The role focuses on steering SDLC execution from start to finish across Malomatia’s application development portfolio, while making sure delivery quality stays high across all outputs.

The position works in close partnership with the Practice Leader for Application Development & Management to strengthen the quality of deliverables, introduce process enhancements, and build team capability in line with business priorities and client expectations.

Experience required

The ideal candidate should bring more than 12 years of steadily increasing experience in information technology management, with a strong emphasis on application development and package implementation. In addition, at least 8 years should be spent managing Scrum-based teams or projects through every stage of the SDLC.

Technical background

This role calls for a solid hands-on technical foundation in custom application delivery, particularly using Java and/or .NET. Experience with integration-led eServices development is important, including the use of APIs, microservices, and related integration patterns.

Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, GCP, and AWS is expected, along with an understanding of cloud services and deployment approaches. The position also requires working knowledge of DevOps practices, including containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery.

Knowledge of software quality assurance approaches and best practices is also essential, as well as practical experience delivering projects through both Waterfall and Agile methods.
