Event Management Internship

About the internship

This part-time remote internship is focused on planning and executing community-centered events for a social impact organization. The selected intern will contribute to event execution in their own city while working virtually.

Organization overview

Devasya Welfare Foundation is a youth-led NGO founded on 8 June 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria. It is registered with the Government of India as a Section 8 organization and also holds an 80G certificate, which supports tax-exempt donations. The foundation works to create a happier and healthier society by supporting underprivileged children and communities through menstrual hygiene awareness initiatives (Project Rohini), birthday celebrations for children in need, free medical camps, education drives, skill-building workshops, and food distribution drives. Its active presence includes Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, with online volunteering options available across India.

What you will do

• Design and organize one event related to the foundation’s project in your city using your own ideas and abilities.
• Reach out to and coordinate with sponsors.
• Build a small support team from your own network to help carry out the event smoothly.
• Plan one sports event or art-and-craft activity in your city as part of a social awareness effort.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work remotely, can begin between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, are available for a 2-week duration, and bring relevant interest and skills for the role.

Stipend

This position is unpaid.
