Video Editor

Overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for a Video Editor in the United Kingdom. The pay ranges from $6 to $65 per hour, and the expected time commitment is 10 to 40 hours each week.

Role Responsibilities

• Examine and improve animation and visual effects deliverables so they can be used to train AI systems for storytelling, robotics, and learning-focused content.
• Keep project files and media organized, clearly tagged, and up to date to support dataset building, annotation tasks, and teamwork across functions.
• Review AI-produced outputs, apply stakeholder input, and make sure the final material meets quality benchmarks, project goals, and factual standards.
• Create evaluation rubrics, assessment methods, and carefully selected media datasets that help train and compare AI models handling video, animation, and instructional assets.
• Bring subject-matter insight to strengthen model results by spotting gaps, unusual cases, and ways to improve narrative and visual generation.
• Work closely with remote cross-functional teams and provide clear written and spoken feedback that helps refine AI model iterations.

Requirements

• Strong background in video editing and post-production, including audio work and visual storytelling.
• Hands-on experience with animation and visual effects for digital or educational media.
• Excellent attention to detail, solid organization, and the ability to juggle several projects while meeting deadlines.
• Comfort with receiving feedback and turning it into practical improvements.
• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, along with substantial experience in video or visual media production.
• Prior experience working in remote, collaborative environments.
