Role overview

What you will do

• Complete customer banking transactions with speed and accuracy, such as deposits, cash withdrawals, and loan repayments.
• Support customers with account-related queries, product details, and resolution of basic issues.
• Identify customer needs and promote suitable bank products and services when relevant.
• Stay updated on bank processes, operational guidelines, and internal procedures.
• Reconcile cash at the end of the shift and keep transaction records correct and up to date.
• Follow security checks and compliance standards to protect customer and bank assets.
• Work with branch colleagues to support team targets and maintain a positive branch environment.

Candidate profile

• A higher secondary qualification is required; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related area is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or cash handling is needed.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills are important for this position.
• The ability to manage a busy workload and handle several tasks at once is necessary.
• Comfort with basic computer use and a quick learning ability for new systems is expected.
• Prior familiarity with banking products and services is an advantage.
• The schedule may include weekends and some holidays, so flexibility is required.
