Role Summary

This full-time Technician position is based on site in Ahmedabad. The role involves carrying out day-to-day pest control work, checking locations for pest activity, applying approved treatment methods, and following company procedures as well as safety requirements. The technician will also manage tools and equipment, keep service records, share observations and recommendations with supervisors or clients, and raise any health or safety concerns as needed. Close coordination with the operations team is part of the job to help plan visits, maintain service standards, and improve processes over time.

Key Duties

• Inspect client locations and identify pest-related issues during routine service visits.
• Apply treatment methods that are approved and aligned with internal protocols.
• Use, clean, and maintain pest control equipment and tools.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and communicate updates clearly.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Report any safety risks or field concerns to the relevant team members.
• Coordinate with operations staff to support scheduling and service delivery.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in service quality and work processes.

Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field-based pest inspection and treatment, able to follow standard operating procedures carefully, and capable of handling tools and basic troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and disciplined documentation are important, along with a solid understanding of safety practices and chemical handling.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability to inspect pests, identify issues, and carry out treatment work while following procedures precisely.
• Working knowledge of hygiene, safety, compliance, and safe chemical use, including personal protective equipment.
• Capability to operate, clean, and maintain pest control equipment, with basic troubleshooting when required.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills, plus the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the team.
• Willingness to work at client sites across and around Ahmedabad, including hospitals, hotels, industrial units, and food/pharma facilities.
• Minimum schooling up to high school or equivalent; technical or vocational training in pest management is a plus.
• Experience in pest control, facility services, or another technical field is preferred, though not essential.
• Physically fit to handle fieldwork involving standing, walking, bending, and indoor/outdoor work conditions.
