Role overview
Beach Rotana is looking for a guest-oriented and energetic Revenue team member who can support a high standard of customer service and help provide practical solutions for hotel guests. In this role, you will help keep reservation communication clear and accurate so that service runs smoothly.
What you will do
- Handle and confirm guest room bookings received by phone, letter, or fax.
- Enter reservations into the system and make sure all required details are recorded correctly.
- Respond to questions, complaints, and booking-related requests in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about hotel promotions, rates, facilities, and related procedures.
- Use strong product knowledge, including rate structures and rate management practices.
- Keep reservation correspondence organized and prepare reports when asked by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
- Support positive public relations efforts and look for ways to increase business.
- Maintain an accurate and current view of room availability at all times.
- Answer incoming calls according to hotel standards, process faxed information, and monitor incoming emails regularly.
- Arrange visa requests for hotel guests in line with hotel policy and identify opportunities to upsell when appropriate.
Requirements
Candidates should have a diploma or degree in hospitality, along with prior experience in hotel reservations. The role also requires strong computer skills, clear written and spoken English, and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
