Role Overview

CoolIT Systems is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work remotely from the UAE. The position focuses on leading the full lifecycle of liquid cooling deployments across enterprise IT, AI, and high-performance environments while coordinating closely with customers, internal teams, and external vendors.

You will oversee projects from kickoff through completion, making sure delivery matches client expectations and business objectives. The role calls for a blend of sales, design, deployment, and maintenance experience, along with the ability to manage resources, cost, and risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and run projects on a day-to-day basis, working with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver work on schedule and within budget, including support for maintenance after deployment.
• Develop, validate, and deliver technical solutions independently while ensuring designs align with required specifications and industry standards; also provide technical direction to the team.
• Allocate and manage resources such as ASP, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Track budgets, control spending, and adjust plans when needed to prevent cost overruns.
• Make sure projects comply with all required safety, regulatory, and quality expectations.
• Communicate directly with clients, gather requirements, and keep them updated on project status.
• Identify project risks early, such as delays or budget issues, and put mitigation measures in place.

Required Background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent level of experience, along with 5 years of relevant project or program management experience in data centers, cooling, or other complex technical deployments.
• Solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex projects and balancing competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%; a valid passport and driver’s license are required.

Preferred Experience

• Background in technical design for data centers and/or liquid cooling systems.
• Field engineering experience in a related field.
• Experience selling and deploying products while coordinating with several internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to understand P&ID drawings and work with 2D and 3D mechanical models, including creation, review, and approval.
• Capability to occasionally lift up to 23 kg.
