Match Retail is recruiting an Operations Manager for a contract assignment in Mississauga, Ontario. The position follows a hybrid setup with three days per week in the office and a Monday-to-Friday schedule. The compensation range for this role is CAD 55,000 to CAD 60,000 per year.
This opportunity is focused on keeping field programs and client initiatives running smoothly by coordinating people, timelines, logistics, reporting, and compliance. The role partners closely with the Director, Client Services, and Field Leadership to turn operational plans into reliable day-to-day execution. Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full operational flow for field programs and client-led initiatives.
- Manage daily task coordination, timelines, and execution deliverables.
- Keep trackers, workback plans, and operational dashboards current and accurate.
- Assist with performance monitoring, attendance follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Organize procurement, shipping, and distribution of program materials and assets.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure readiness and on-time delivery.
- Track operational spend, handle invoice processing, maintain budget trackers, and support reconciliation work.
- Compile weekly operational updates and post-program summaries.
- Identify potential risks, delays, staffing gaps, or compliance concerns early and propose practical solutions.
- Contribute to SOP upkeep, process refinement, and overall operational best practices.
Skills and requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in operations coordination, field operations, or a comparable role.
- French language ability is an added advantage.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management capabilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to balance several priorities at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
