Overview

English 1 is offering an opportunity for recent graduates and early-career candidates to begin an international career by teaching English in China. This full-time role is aimed at people who want practical work experience, cross-cultural exposure, and structured professional growth rather than a standard desk job. Prior classroom experience is not required, and the employer provides training, visa support, and teaching resources.

Role Details

You will work with young learners aged 3 to 16 in an engaging classroom environment. Lessons are designed to be lively, interactive, and immersive, using the company’s curriculum and digital learning tools. The role also includes student feedback, confidence-building support, and participation in school-based activities.

What You Will Do

• Teach English to children and teenagers aged 3 to 16 in an interactive classroom setting.
• Run energetic lessons using the employer’s curriculum and digital teaching tools.
• Give helpful feedback to support students’ progress and confidence in English.
• Join school events, cultural programs, and student engagement activities.

Training and Support

The program includes full induction training, ongoing guidance, and ready-to-use teaching materials. It also offers TEFL certification support, distance learning options such as Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM, and structured career development opportunities.

Accommodation and Visa Terms

Hotel accommodation for the first two weeks is treated as sponsorship after the first-year contract is completed successfully. The costs for the sponsored legal Z work visa are reimbursed.
