The team includes people with experience at organizations such as Scale, Meta, Airbnb, Cruise, Square, Rubrik, and Lyft, and the company works closely with OpenAI and Anthropic to develop legal AI workflows. Revenue has been growing at 2X quarter over quarter.
Role Overview
This position is the first Executive Assistant role at the company and will be central to how the founders operate day to day. The person in this role will keep details organized, prevent issues before they surface, and create time and focus for company leadership. It is a strong fit for someone early in their career who is highly organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where flexibility and initiative matter.
Executive Support
- Own complex calendar management for the founders, including scheduling, prioritization, and resolving conflicts.
- Arrange internal and external meetings across different stakeholders and time zones.
- Act as a reliable communication bridge for executives and make sure follow-ups happen on time.
- Monitor inboxes, organize action items, and keep important tasks from slipping through the cracks.
- Create agendas, briefing materials, meeting notes, and follow-up documents when needed.
Travel and Logistics
- Organize travel arrangements such as flights, lodging, and ground transportation.
- Handle expense reports, reimbursements, and related administrative coordination.
- Spot logistical risks early and solve them before they affect plans.
Operations and Special Projects
- Work with Workplace and People teams to support offsites, onboarding, and internal events.
- Take on ad hoc requests and special projects as priorities change across the company.
- Develop better systems, processes, and documentation to improve efficiency.
- Use AI tools to simplify scheduling, communication, workflows, and administrative work.

Requirements
- At least 1–3 years of experience in executive support, administration, operations, coordination, or a closely related role.
- Excellent organization and strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to juggle several priorities and adjust quickly in a busy environment.
- Strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism when working with sensitive information.
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused working style.
- Comfort working independently while staying aligned with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and modern productivity tools.
- Interest in AI and willingness to use tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve efficiency.
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work from the San Mateo office at least three days per week.
Preferred Experience
- Background supporting founders, executives, or senior leaders.
- Experience in a startup, technology company, or other high-growth setting.
- Exposure to event planning, team offsites, or travel coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation and Benefits
The stated U.S. base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000 per year. Final pay will depend on factors such as relevant experience, skills, interview results, and the scope and level of the position.
