Role overview
Flogas LPG is hiring a proactive and energetic Customer Support Agent to become a key member of its customer support function. In this position, you will be the main contact for liquid gas customers across bulk, cylinder, domestic, and commercial accounts, and you will see each issue through to completion.
The role sits in a busy, high-volume environment where you will aim to resolve most enquiries at the first touchpoint and provide practical, solution-oriented service across several communication channels. Success in this position depends on clear communication, attentive listening, and strong troubleshooting ability, all of which help you understand customer needs and deliver strong outcomes. You will also contribute to sales activity by handling enquiries, supporting contracts, and spotting opportunities to drive growth while working closely with other teams.
What you will do
- Serve as the first contact for customers and handle queries across multiple channels, resolving as many as possible at the initial interaction.
- Own customer issues from start to finish, including complaints, and work within service-level targets to achieve timely closure.
- Accurately manage orders, payments, and account changes while keeping customer records clean and up to date.
- Handle inbound sales leads, support field sales activity, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and business growth.
- Run inbound and outbound customer campaigns in line with targets and wider business priorities.
- Provide service that reflects the company’s customer contact framework and customer experience standards.
- Work with colleagues across functions to achieve the best possible customer and commercial results.
- Share ideas, feedback, and observations to help improve processes and the overall customer journey.
- Follow company policies and relevant regulations while supporting team and organisational goals.
- Take on other duties as needed to support the effectiveness of the Customer & Sales Support Team and the wider business.
Candidate profile
The right candidate will be highly customer-focused, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in customer service or sales is important, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance several tasks at once. You should be confident using Microsoft Office and CRM tools, capable of resolving issues efficiently, and committed to delivering a consistently excellent customer experience. A collaborative attitude, self-drive, and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement are also essential.
