Role Overview
Dar wa Emaar is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee contract administration across construction, design, consultancy, procurement, and service agreements in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position plays a key role in ensuring contract terms are properly prepared, reviewed, negotiated, and followed through during project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Take charge of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts related to construction, design, consultancy, procurement, and services.
- Create and uphold consistent contract templates, processes, and records.
- Track obligations, deliverables, milestones, and schedule commitments to keep agreements on course.
Tendering and Procurement Support
- Contribute to tender strategy, bid assessment, and the selection of contractors and consultants.
- Work alongside procurement and technical stakeholders to prepare RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
- Assess commercial and technical proposals to verify alignment with contractual terms.
Engineering and Project Coordination
- Partner with engineering, design, project management, and legal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Examine technical specifications and confirm that contractual obligations match the project scope.
- Offer contract-related support during construction and development activities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or another related engineering field is required.
- Professional credentials such as PMP, MRICS, CCM, or similar are considered an advantage.
- A strong command of construction contract practices is essential, and knowledge of FIDIC is mandatory.
Experience
The role calls for 8 to 12+ years of experience in contract management, construction management, or commercial management, preferably within real estate development.
