Role overview
The Consulting Operations Analyst will contribute to consulting operations, performance tracking, business intelligence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement efforts. This position focuses on reviewing operational data, building dashboards and reports, following key performance indicators, assisting with governance tasks, and improving processes to raise efficiency and service quality.
The right candidate should bring strong analytical thinking, advanced reporting ability, and hands-on exposure to performance management, business intelligence, and operational excellence.
Performance management and analytics
- Track operational and business KPIs and examine performance trends.
- Create and update dashboards and executive-level reports.
- Interpret data patterns and turn them into practical recommendations for decision-making.
- Assist with target definition, KPI alignment, and performance review cycles.
- Prepare management reports and presentation materials.
Business intelligence and reporting
- Build and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Pull data from multiple sources, then clean, analyze, and present it clearly.
- Check reporting outputs for accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to reporting automation and improvement efforts.
- Produce both regular and one-time analytical reports.
Operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Support operational excellence programs and improvement initiatives.
- Take part in process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow redesign.
- Spot opportunities for improvement and follow through on implementation progress.
Quality and governance
- Ensure adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Assist with quality control and governance-related activities.
- Monitor action plans and improvement initiatives.
- Keep operational documents and knowledge resources up to date.
- Support audits and quality reviews when needed.
Project and operations support
- Assist PMO and project governance work.
- Help prepare executive presentations and status updates.
- Work with cross-functional teams to keep activities on schedule.
- Support resource planning, operational reporting, and performance review processes.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is required in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
Professional certifications such as C-KPI, Lean Six Sigma, Power BI, PMP, CBIP, Tableau, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Experience requirements
Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Operations, PMO, Performance Management, Business Intelligence, Operational Excellence, or Quality Management.
Experience in consulting firms or professional services organizations is strongly preferred. Prior involvement in transformation, PMO, or operational excellence work is also desirable.
