Architectural Engineer

Overview

Artas Real Estate is hiring an Architectural Engineer to support its team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is centered on real estate project delivery, with the selected candidate expected to oversee work from the planning stage through final completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Track site execution and keep a close watch on construction progress.
• Liaise with contractors and consultants to confirm that work follows the approved drawings and specifications.
• Assess workmanship and monitor whether project milestones are being met against the planned schedule.
• Prepare regular and technical status updates for management.
• Examine shop drawings and quantity take-offs.
• Control project spending by checking budgets and ensuring work remains within approved limits.
• Follow up on contractor billing and keep an eye on costs throughout execution.
• Apply a solid understanding of structural work, finishing work, and overall project management.
• Handle several projects at the same time and coordinate closely with site teams.
• Use AutoCAD, 3D design tools, and other relevant engineering software effectively.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in architecture is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in real estate project management and project execution is needed.
• Prior exposure to contracting firms or real estate developers is preferred.
• The candidate must be able to interpret and review construction and technical drawings.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and cost analyses is necessary.
• Strong planning, coordination, organization, and project management abilities are expected.
