About the internship
This work-from-home internship is for a creative video editor who can turn scripts and storyboards into polished visual stories. The role involves editing content with motion graphics, adding supporting visuals such as B-roll, stock footage, images, maps, graphics, and effects, and shaping videos to match the intended creative direction. The internship is with an independent digital content and film production studio that focuses on documentaries, cinematic storytelling, investigative pieces, historical animations, and YouTube content built to professional broadcast standards.
The team values strong storytelling, originality, accuracy, visual quality, and a careful approach to editing rather than overdependence on AI-generated output.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos based on the script, storyboard, and creative brief, including motion graphics where required.
- Integrate B-roll, stock clips, still images, maps, graphics, and visual effects to strengthen the final edit.
- Create and animate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
- Align voice-over, dialogue, background music, and sound effects for a smooth audio experience.
- Carry out color correction and basic color grading.
- Export finished videos in the needed formats and resolutions.
- Keep project files and backups neatly organized.

Additional information
Stipend structure: Fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month, plus incentive pay of ₹500 to ₹1,000 per month.
Potential full-time salary after conversion: ₹250,000 to ₹500,000 per year.
