Role overview

This position focuses on processing reflection seismic survey data from start to finish so that clear, interpretable subsurface images are produced for exploration geophysicists. The work is based in Singapore and is a full-time, on-site role.

What you will do

• Carry out the complete prestack processing workflow for reflection seismic datasets.
• Handle geometry assignment, denoising, deconvolution, velocity analysis, residual statics, and both time and depth migration.
• Review field records for quality and confirm that the input data is suitable for processing.
• Develop velocity models and improve them through repeated iteration as new information becomes available.
• Adjust migration settings so the final image is as accurate and usable as possible.
• Prepare clear documentation for each processing sequence so interpretation teams can rely on the output.

What we are looking for

• A background in geophysics is required.
• Practical experience using an industry-standard seismic processing software package is needed.
• You should have a solid understanding of signal-processing concepts and their application to seismic data.
• Strong QC discipline and the ability to work through detailed processing steps are important.
