Scan Coordinator

Role Overview

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Scan Coordinator who can help protect store pricing accuracy in a fast-moving retail environment.

What You’ll Do

The Scan Coordinator keeps store pricing information accurate and up to date across the location.

• Update prices on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including shelf labels, tags, and promotional signage.
• Check weekly ad pricing, promotional markdowns, and signage accuracy across all departments.
• Follow company policies as well as applicable government rules and compliance standards.
• Work efficiently and accurately to preserve pricing integrity throughout the store.
• Support a busy, fast-paced store environment with a positive, can-do approach.

What We’re Looking For

To qualify for this role, candidates should be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1 to 3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong analytical and organizational ability is important, along with the capability to manage scanning programs, maintain reports and schedules, and understand basic billing and accounting processes. Good math skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office are also required. The role calls for a friendly, outgoing manner and the ability to interact well with customers, team members, and vendors. Candidates must be available for varied hours and days as needed by the business.

Physical and Technical Demands

This job involves reading price labels, preparing signs, posting tags and signage, using a computer to activate pricing, stapling materials, and working from a step ladder when needed. Good vision is necessary for reading and placing signs correctly. The role also requires lifting and moving boxes up to 17 lbs. from 1 inch to 34 inches over a distance of up to 8 feet for as long as 1 hour, walking up to 4 miles in an 8-hour shift, and repeated crouching, kneeling, or squatting to reach as low as 6 inches from the floor for up to 50 hours.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $20.05 to $30.00, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
