Role Overview
Redsun Solutions LLC is hiring an experienced OPT Recruiter to support US IT staffing efforts. This position focuses on identifying and engaging qualified OPT candidates through universities and related student networks across the United States.
The role is best suited to someone with a strong background in US staffing, solid communication skills, and the ability to consistently develop candidate pipelines for multiple IT openings.

- Shift timing: US hours, either 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST or a schedule aligned to US time zones

Core Responsibilities
- Find OPT candidates through universities, job boards, referrals, social networks, community groups, and internal talent databases.
- Develop and sustain relationships with international students and university contacts.
- Evaluate candidates against technology needs, visa status, and client expectations.
- Carry out first-round screening to check communication skills, technical background, and eligibility.
- Keep candidate records, trackers, and sourcing updates accurate and current.
- Work closely with recruiters, account managers, and training teams to support onboarding and marketing activities.
- Maintain a steady flow of OPT candidates across different technologies.
- Stay informed about market movement, visa rules, and sourcing approaches related to OPT and CPT hiring.
- Use sourcing channels such as TechFetch, LinkedIn, Dice, Indeed, university communities, and similar platforms effectively.
Required Background
- At least 5 years of experience sourcing OPT/CPT candidates in the US staffing space.
- Strong working knowledge of OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, EAD, and related visa procedures.
- Proven ability to source candidates directly from universities and student networks.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong persuasion and relationship management capabilities.
- Experience coordinating with US recruiters and clients.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Well-developed organization and follow-up habits.
- Comfort with US shift timings.

- A ready network or database of OPT candidates and university contacts.
- Background in training and placement organizations.
- Knowledge of IT technologies and current hiring demand.
- Prior exposure to candidate onboarding and documentation work.
