Monitoring & Testing Specialist

Role overview

This position sits within Risk Management under Internal Firm Services and supports a culture of integrity-led decision-making across the organization. The role is centered on monitoring compliance with external regulations, internal policies, and procedures to help reduce regulatory, litigation, and reputational exposure.

You will be part of the Independence Compliance team, which advises on independence requirements and the wider regulatory landscape. The team also assesses new client opportunities in line with compliance policies and procedures.

What you will do

• Execute testing across multiple processes, including Independence Assessment, CES, and engagement testing.
• Review reports, choose samples for testing, and coordinate with project teams to gather information and resolve queries.
• Prepare a weekly recap for internal review and to communicate monitoring outcomes.
• Escalate any issues found to the Reporting Manager without delay.
• Handle other assigned work related to Independence and associated areas with care and consistency.
• Work closely with broader independence and risk teams across service lines when needed.

Skills and tools

The role calls for strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Independence policies.

Experience and education

A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Suitable educational backgrounds include BBA, B.Com, BCA, MBA, PGDM, or M.Com.
