General Assistant

The pay for this role is £12.81 per hour.

Key Duties

• Follow all requirements set out in the Health and Safety Employee Policy and the Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain the JD Gyms brand standards at all times.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety inspections.
• Identify and report any faults or defects so the building and equipment remain safe to use.
• Keep the full gym facility clean to a consistently high standard.
• Make sure uniform expectations are always met.
• Provide excellent service to members at all times.
• Take part in colleague training videos to help uphold group-wide standards.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should be diligent, detail-oriented, and able to work well with others. A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to going beyond expectations are important. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently. Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner are also essential.
