Full Stack Engineer - AI Trainer

Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced full stack engineer who wants to contribute to the development of AI systems. You will join a large coding community made up of more than 100,000 professionals across front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related engineering disciplines who work on practical AI-focused projects.

The role combines flexibility with technically demanding work. You will collaborate with advanced AI models on programming assignments such as designing and solving difficult coding challenges, creating polished applications with rich features, and turning data into useful insights through analysis and visualization. The work you complete helps improve intelligent systems as they learn and evolve.

Some contributors use this work alongside another full-time job, while others make it their primary focus. Project selection and scheduling are based on your availability and goals.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the interview step. If you pass, you will receive email confirmation and paid work will be unlocked on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Create and solve a range of coding tasks used to train AI systems, with particular attention to Android development.
• Produce clean code samples along with clear, well-structured explanations.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve future AI model performance.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
• Preferred hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Working proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Excellent written communication and grammar.
• Bachelor’s degree completed or currently underway.
• Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is an advantage.

Compensation and contract terms

Work is paid at an hourly rate starting from $50 to $100+ per hour, with some projects offering higher pay. Payment is processed through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD is handled by PayPal. This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employee role.

Availability and location

This opportunity is available only to applicants based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Candidates outside these countries will not see assessments or work opportunities on the platform at this time.
