Role overview
This is a permanent Executive Assistant position based in Dublin City Centre within the financial services sector. The role supports the Chief Technology Officer in a highly regulated banking environment and requires a dependable, highly organised professional who can operate as a trusted partner on strategic technology matters. The successful candidate will help maintain strong leadership rhythm, keep priorities moving, and support effective decision-making across senior stakeholders.
What you will do
- Run a busy and changing executive calendar, prioritising meetings and protecting the CTO’s time where needed.
- Build polished briefing packs, presentations, and reports for Executive Committee and Board-level meetings.
- Monitor progress on major CTO initiatives, including digital change programmes and core banking modernisation work.
- Act as a key liaison for senior leaders, regulators, and other important stakeholders, helping maintain strong working relationships.
- Coordinate technology risk updates, audit follow-ups, and regulatory actions in line with governance requirements.
- Plan leadership meetings, town halls, and offsite sessions, while also arranging travel and processing expenses.
- Prepare internal and external communications on behalf of the CTO to help support and promote the bank’s technology agenda.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience supporting C-suite or senior leaders in a regulated financial services setting.
- Exposure to technology teams or functions such as IT, digital, or cybersecurity.
- Good working knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory expectations in banking.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and time-management ability in a fast-moving environment.
- Confident use of Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to handle confidential information carefully.
- Awareness of modern technology environments, including cloud transformation and digital banking platforms.
