Role Overview

This position focuses on contract administration, procurement planning, commercial evaluation, and price optimization for projects within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role requires hands-on involvement in estimation, tender review, supplier sourcing, negotiation, and cost control to help deliver competitive and compliant commercial outcomes.

Key Deliverables

• Develop precise and workable quantity estimates that help shape fair, market-relevant pricing.
• Carry out activity-wise quantity take-offs from drawings with clarity and accuracy.
• Prepare rate analyses based on material inputs, labour requirements, and execution needs.
• Benchmark activity rates against prevailing market levels to maintain competitiveness.
• Handle large tenders by checking compliance, improving pricing outcomes, and spotting risks, opportunities, and precast-related scope.
• Assess contract terms and conditions and manage them to reduce exposure and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Review cost build-ups to support efficient and competitive price bids.
• Manage procurement of goods and services so sourcing remains timely, economical, and effective across ICs.
• Source and evaluate specialised precast suppliers for quality, dependability, and value for money.
• Assist ICs in commercial negotiations to secure more favourable contract terms.
• Track supplier spending and support cost control so budgets remain on course.
• Work with vendors to compare rates and create standard pricing across categories for ICs.
