Role overview

This position is focused on building, deploying, and improving AI and machine learning capabilities that support internal teams and business decision-making. The role involves turning ML models into APIs, creating scalable data pipelines, supporting AI infrastructure, and continuously refining model performance across environments.

Key responsibilities

• Package machine learning models as application programming interfaces.
• Design AI models from the ground up and explain outcomes clearly to product managers and other stakeholders.
• Create data ingestion and transformation workflows.
• Automate infrastructure used by the data science team.
• Run statistical analysis and refine outputs so business decisions are better informed.
• Set up and oversee AI development and product infrastructure.
• Support, evaluate, and improve existing in-house models and algorithms through ongoing testing and tuning.
• Improve algorithm efficiency across different development platforms.
• Write evaluation scripts to measure algorithm and end-to-end performance accurately.

Technical requirements

• Strong command of Python, along with familiarity with software development standards, debugging, and profiling.
• Practical exposure to OpenCV, PIL, and similar image-processing libraries.
• Experience with at least one major deep learning framework such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Working knowledge of data science tools including Jupyter notebooks/lab, pandas, bash scripting, and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with different neural network architectures and modules.
• Exposure to CNNs is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
