Role overview
The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) Analytics & Data Science CoE works on protecting business growth by reducing fraud risk, keeping credit losses among the lowest in the industry, and improving the customer experience. The team uses advanced data methods, digital tools, and evolving technology to make smarter decisions across risk, underwriting, customer onboarding, fraud control, and marketing.
As an Analyst in Data Science, you will help develop and validate predictive models and use them in decision-making frameworks that support profitable outcomes across risk, fraud, and marketing. This is a chance to work on real business problems, learn from experienced leaders in analytics and machine learning, and contribute to work that affects millions of customers.
Key responsibilities
- Build a strong understanding of the company’s business model and the factors that influence major decisions.
- Work with large datasets to uncover insights and design practical business solutions.
- Use the company’s closed-loop network to improve the relevance and intelligence of decision-making.
- Develop better approaches through big data and machine learning methods.
- Present findings clearly and in a structured way to leadership and key partners across customer and prospect areas.
- Keep track of changes and trends in finance, payments, analytics, and related fields.
Qualifications
- MBA or a master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0 to 30 months of experience in analytics.
- Ability to take ownership of project deliverables and contribute to business outcomes.
- Comfort working in collaborative team settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn quickly and handle complex, less-structured work independently.
- Capability to work with cross-functional business partners globally.
