Data Analyst

About the role

EFICYENT is hiring a motivated Data Analyst who pays close attention to detail and can help turn raw information into useful business insights. In this role, you will work with data from different sources, prepare it for analysis, create reports and dashboards, and support decision-making alongside senior analysts and other team members.

What you will do

• Collect information from multiple sources, then clean, structure, and organize it for analysis.
• Study datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can guide business actions.
• Develop and update dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.
• Share findings with stakeholders in clear written and visual formats.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs.
• Keep data records accurate, consistent, and well maintained.
• Work according to data governance standards, internal processes, and quality rules.
• Raise any data issues, inconsistencies, or technical problems to senior team members without delay.

Requirements

This role is suited to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline, or those with equivalent practical experience. Applicants should have 0 to 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong working knowledge of Excel and basic SQL is needed, along with familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. You should also bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred skills

• Hands-on experience with Python or R for data work.
• Understanding of statistical methods and concepts.
• Exposure to cloud data environments such as Google BigQuery, AWS, or Azure.
