About the Role
This position sits with the Data Acquisition team and supports accounts payable audit work by sourcing, preparing, and validating the data needed for audits. You’ll coordinate with clients to gather required information, keep the data process moving from the initial discussion through to audit-ready delivery, and help resolve questions as the audit advances. The role is remote within the United States, aligned to EST, with a first-week onsite training requirement in Greensboro.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all data required for a successful audit is collected and validated.
- Join and map data sources into the standard audit table structure.
- Identify, remove, and correct issues in records through data cleansing.
- Use analytical tools to spot patterns and trends in complex datasets.
- Own the assessment, delivery, accuracy, quality, and tracking of production data fixes.
- Define business rules, data standards, and best practices for analysis and enrichment.
- Understand end-to-end data movement and dependencies that affect delivery, release, and change management.
- Work with the IT security team to make sure solutions follow internal data principles and guidelines.
- Investigate data issues and communicate fixes to R&D and other internal partners.
- Attend and/or lead client meetings to clarify data requirements and follow up until the needed data is received.
- Support the audit team by answering data-related questions throughout the audit cycle.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in data quality, data analysis, and data management.
- 3+ years in AP audit work and experience with financial data preferred.
- Hands-on experience handling large datasets and mapping data relationships.
- Working knowledge of SQL client tools such as SSMS or DBeaver.
- Strong SQL capability.
- Practical understanding of SAP AP tables and how they connect.
- Experience building automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Comfort with SQL databases and table relationships.
- Experience using Excel and file-viewing tools such as Notepad and UltraEdit.
- Strong numerical ability for collecting, organizing, measuring, and analyzing data.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
- Technical knowledge of data standardization and transformation.
- Understanding of data flows, data profiling, and statistical analysis.
- Must be comfortable traveling to Greensboro for the first week of onsite training.
