Role overview
This position is focused on improving maintenance performance for the module stringer cluster. The role combines team capability building, customer-focused issue resolution, execution against business targets, and safe, sustainable operations. It is aimed at strengthening productivity, reducing downtime, and supporting long-term operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Build and strengthen the skill matrix for direct and indirect manpower through structured training so operators are prepared for higher responsibility levels.
- Improve customer satisfaction by closing notifications and preventive maintenance work orders on time, and by applying strong CAPA methods to analyze breakdowns effectively.
- Support achievement of annual business goals by meeting targets for capacity, operating cost, and EBITDA while staying aligned with preventive maintenance plans.
- Contribute to business continuity and market share by identifying and executing technology-led improvements and risk-reduction initiatives.
- Promote organizational sustainability by following safety inspections, completing PTW and LOTO requirements on time, and participating in regular monthly audits.
Stakeholders
Internal: Production Team, Shift Engineers, Cluster Managers, Lead - Module Maintenance, Head - Module Maintenance.
External: Equipment Suppliers, Automation Technology Vendors.
Qualification and experience
Candidates should hold a B.Tech degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. A BE/B.Tech qualification is preferred.
The role requires 4 to 10 years of experience in operating stringing machines and working with stringing processes in solar module manufacturing.

This role is based in Mundra, Gujarat, India and is a full-time onsite position.
