Site Engineer

Role overview

O’Neill & Brennan Ireland is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a client project based in County Kerry. The role sits within the site team and contributes to the successful delivery of multiple construction works.

What you’ll be doing

• Review drawings and plans carefully to confirm measurements and calculations are correct.
• Prepare and share progress updates for site leadership and clients.
• Oversee site setting out, levelling and surveying activities.
• Use AutoCAD regularly to verify dimensions on site.
• Work closely with subcontractors and site managers to keep the project moving smoothly.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.

Experience and qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience setting out on construction sites is expected.
• Prior experience on high-value construction projects in Ireland is needed.
• Hands-on experience with surveying equipment such as total station and GPS is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, are important for this position.

Compensation

The pay is DOE, with an estimated range of €55,000 to €65,000.
